These terms cover the use of this website and the basis on which FJA Plumbing and Heating Ltd provides plumbing, heating and gas services. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

About us

FJA Plumbing and Heating Ltd, 3/7 Guithavon Street, Witham, Essex, CM8 1BJ. Company number 13567482. VAT number 420 474131. All gas work is carried out under Gas Safe registration 667143.

Quotations

Prices given before a survey are indicative only. A fixed price is given after we have surveyed the property. The period that price stays open is stated on your quotation.

If work that could not reasonably have been identified at survey becomes necessary once we start, we will stop and agree any change with you before continuing.

Bookings and cancellation

We will agree an appointment date with you in advance. If you need to cancel or rearrange, please give us as much notice as you can. Where materials have already been ordered specifically for your job we may charge for those.

If we cannot attend as arranged we will contact you as soon as we know and rebook at a time that suits you.

Our hours

We work seven days a week from 07:30 to 22:00. We are not an out-of-hours emergency service and we do not offer 24 hour call-out. If you smell gas at any time, call the National Gas Emergency service on 0800 111 999 immediately.

Payment

Payment terms are set out on your quotation and invoice. Title in any materials supplied remains with us until payment has been received in full.

Manufacturer warranties

Boilers and appliances we install carry the manufacturer's own warranty, which we register in your name at handover. Manufacturer warranties normally require an annual service by a Gas Safe registered engineer to remain valid.
